To our neighbours in N.D.G. and the rest of Montreal, welcome to

"Hey Madison, what are you all about?"
Ha! That's easy.
Jesus. Everything else is boring.
Who is Jesus, and why does it matter?
Allow us to introduce you to Jesus.
Maybe you have heard of Him, read about Him briefly, even went to church for years. If you turned away from Him for any reason, I can safely say that you've never met the real Jesus. Strong words? Yes.
His friends who lived with Him daily for three years wrote of Him saying He never did anything, nor said anything wrong. Think about that.
Take a look at the Gospel of Mark in the bible- you can read it here online. It portrays Jesus as the Son of God on earth, come to show the heart and mind of God and to save ALL people. He put aside His power and came as a man like the rest of us. He suffered and showed He knows what we go through. Look at the first few chapters; look at who He interacts with- the lowly, the outcast, the sick, the sinners, and everyone else as well. He shows His power over the physical and spiritual world, so we don't have to fear. Finally, after showing Himself sinless and worthy to take the penalty of our sin on Himself, He was crucified- God Himself taking our place to save us from our just punishment, the ultimate act of love. He doesn't look at our failings- He only wants to build us up in His love, real love for you, as you are; He'll never turn on you, never betray you, never trick you. A true friend (as so He calls us), He is never untrue.
Want to know more? I hope so. Check out these sites. They have all kinds of audio talks and articles that will allow you to discover Jesus on your own. But try this- with an open mind, ask God to reveal Himself to you. He's not far away.
Who was Jesus Christ? Did he really exist? Can we know what he did and taught? Explore the evidence that shows Jesus was a historical figure and find out why Christians believe he was fully man and fully God - and why it matters.
Outside of Jesus Christ, there is no other hope for humanity.
He proved it, too.
If you're lost, or hurting, or need your mind filled with truth, there is nowhere else to go. And that's great news.
Learn about Jesus from the source- The Bible. The Gospel means "Good News", and you'll see why after listening to some of these amazingly personal sermons that will tell you the heart of God and His love for every person.
No, it's not a mirage.... we can have HOPE.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”
WE are ALL the poor, the captives, the blind, and the oppressed. Sometimes liberty is taken from us, and sometimes we imprison ourselves. Christ has come to set us free from the slavery of sin and fear to enjoy Him and true liberty-
"if God is for us, who can be against us?"
As Jesus said,
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:20 (NIV)
Church is THE place to find out about this relationship. Its a place of learning; a gathering of other Christians to encourage one another; a place to worship together, pray together, have a great time together! If you're not a Christian, you're welcome to come right in and look around! You can sit right up front or in the back rows, take off right after the service, or better yet, come downstairs for refreshments and get to know us and what we're about!

How can I know God? (and why should I....?)
A good answer to such a good question.
Two Ways to Live
The Gospel (Good News) of Christianity presented in a very easy format
FAITH, HOPE, LOVE,
So, why should I come to church....?
What if the Christian message is true? That means that God is VERY interested in you... in fact He built the universe to help you to get to know Him. Why does God want us to believe in Him? Well, He doesn't want you to just believe in Him, He wants to have an intimate and up-close relationship with you. That's why He made you a person and not a robot- each unique and with a personality, a soul that is made in His image. That's the whole point of Jesus being born into the world; God Himself putting an end to our addiction to sin and self-destruction through a true friendship with everyone who wants sit down and share everything with Him.
